EnergyGuard™ HD Barrier Polyiso Cover Board

EnergyGuard™ HD Barrier has an R-value of 2.5, the highest R-value compared to non-polyiso cover boards of equivalent thickness, and also achieves an ANSI UL790 roof rating over combustible wood decks without the use of a slip sheet. At 11 lb. respectively per 4’ x 8’ board, it’s a fraction of the weight of gypsum cover boards. With 80 psi compressive strength and a durable coated glass facer, EnergyGuard™ HD Barrier provides a sturdy substrate and protection for a roof system.

  • Meets the requirements of ASTM D3273 for resistance to mold growth
  • ANSI/UL 790/ASTM E108 Class A Roofing Fire Resistance Rating with a ½" (12.7 mm) board thickness over a combustible wood deck without the use of a slip sheet
  • Flute Spanability 3.75" (95.3 mm)
