Drill-Tec™ TPO IW Plate and Drill-Tec™ PVC IW Plate
The Drill-Tec™ TPO IW Plate and Drill-Tec™ PVC IW Plate are approximately 3 3/8" (85.4 mm) diameter Galvalume® steel plates with special thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) coatings, respectively.

Application:
Plates are approved for use with steel, wood or structural concrete roof decks. The Drill-Tec™ IW Plates can be installed using the Drill-Tec™ #14 HD Fastener, Drill-Tec™ #15 EHD Fastener and Drill- Tec™ #12 Purlin Fastener. Please refer to GAF-published application instructions for approved substrates and additional information requirements at gaf.com.
- Minimum 2" insulation thickness is required for induction weld plate installation
- Ensure surface is clean, dry, and debris-free before applying membrane
- The heat sink/magnet surface should be clean of all debris when in use
- To ensure the optimal bond of the membrane to the plate, heat sinks/ magnets should be left on plate long enough to cool the plate
- Always calibrate the welding machine per the manufacturer’s instructions to the current working conditions to ensure the best bond

ATTENTION: Drill-Tec™ TPO and Drill-Tec™ PVC IW Plates must be protected from prolonged UV (ultra violet) sun exposure and surface contaminants. Keep buckets covered when not retrieving plates. All installed plates must be covered with membrane by the end of each workday.
